The Academic Inclusive Association organises training for individuals, institutions, organisations and business entities (micro, macro and medium-sized businesses) that wish to enhance their knowledge and practice in the inclusion of people with disabilities and the development of social inclusion.
Currently, the Academic Inclusion Association is running two training courses accredited by the relevant institutions: Sensitisation to the work and role of employees in the social protection system in the process of achieving the social inclusion of people with disabilities, and Developing competencies for supporting the employment of people with disabilities.
Training: Sensitisation for the Role and Work of Staff in the Social Protection System in the Process of Achieving the Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.
The aim of the training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff in the social protection system to provide more effective support for the social inclusion of persons with disabilities.
Upon completion of the training, participants will have a better understanding of contemporary approaches to disability and social inclusion, be able to recognise the individual needs and potentials of service users, apply the principles of partnership, participation and human rights in their work, as well as develop more inclusive and responsible professional practices in their day-to-day work. The training is accredited by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs at the Republic’s Institute for Social Protection. The training lasts for 10 working hours, and as part of the process of obtaining a licence, employees in the social protection system earn 15 active points by attending. The Academic Inclusive Association delivers the training on demand, and the date of the training is determined in agreement with the client or after 10 individual registrations.

Training ‘Developing Competencies for Supporting the Employment of Persons with Disabilities’
The Academic Inclusion Association has obtained the status of a publicly recognised organiser of adult education (JPOA). The JPOA status was granted to the Academic Inclusion Association by the Agency for Accreditation.
The aim of the training is to develop competencies for supporting the employment and work inclusion of people with disabilities in an organisational and business environment. Upon completion of the training, participants will understand the basic concepts and approaches to disability and work inclusion, acquaint themselves with the relevant legal and institutional framework, improve communication and support skills when working with people with disabilities and employers, as well as apply inclusive methods in employment, workplace adaptation and managing diversity within the organisation.
All interested parties can contact the Academic Inclusion Association with a proposal to conduct the training on request. The price of the training depends on the size of the group, the scope of the engagement and the location.
