Blue Theatre and the Academic Inclusive Association have launched this year’s educational and creative inclusive project titled “Ode to Diversity 3.” The project involves young people with and without disabilities, aged 18 to 30. An introductory workshop will be held in July, while from September until December 10, 2024, the activities will take place twice a week at times agreed upon with the participants.
Participants will have the opportunity to improve their communication skills, develop their vocal and physical expressive capacities, unleash their energy and initiative, and explore their creative potential through a series of exercises based on techniques inherent to contemporary theater expression.
The project will conclude with the creation of a performance-presentation that will be presented to the public. The project is fully inclusive, involving an equal number of young people with and without disabilities. All activities will take place at the Blue Theatre, Miloša Pocerca 23a, Belgrade.
The work will be led by Blue Theatre actors Maša Jelić and Marko Potkonjak. Project partners include the Academic Inclusive Association, the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation (FASPER), the Student Cultural Center Kragujevac, and the Cultural Center Ruma. The project is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia.
