Today, the Academic Inclusive Association was visited by Mihailo Dosković, the President of the Zvezdara Municipality, who took the opportunity to learn about the organization’s work and plans. During the visit, the team informed the President about the situation of persons with disabilities and the challenges they face in functioning and social inclusion. They also presented proposals regarding the installation of sound-enabled traffic lights and tactile pathways near the premises of the Academic Inclusive Association.
President Dosković confirmed that the Zvezdara Municipality will be the patron of the music festival “Inkluzijada,” which will be held this autumn in Zvezdarska Forest. He emphasized that the Municipality will provide appropriate logistical and all other necessary support for the preparation and realization of the festival.
Members of the AIA team expressed their gratitude to the President and his associates for the visit and their intention to participate in the festival’s organization, also expressing a desire for further cooperation improvement.
