The Academic Inclusive Association held three workshops for representatives of political parties and movements to build their capacities for including youth with disabilities in political activism, developing inclusive policies, and ensuring adequate access for people with disabilities within political programs.
A total of 26 representatives from seven political parties and movements participated in the Association’s workshops. During the sessions, they were educated about who people with disabilities are, how to provide them with necessary support, and why it is crucial for political organizations to develop inclusive policies that guarantee support for people with disabilities.
The Association reached agreements with political parties and movements on signing cooperation agreements so that these entities will be committed in the future to developing and implementing inclusive policies and providing support for people with disabilities.
