On Monday, December 11, the team from the Academic Inclusive Association held a press conference titled “Elections and Persons with Disabilities” as part of the project “Youth and Journalists for Better Media Access to Disability Inclusion.”
Speakers at the conference included: Executive Director of the Academic Inclusive Association, Milan Janković; political scientist Dr. Boban Stojanović; and Aleksa Kuzmanović, a student at the Faculty of Philology. During the event, the speakers shared the experiences of persons with disabilities in exercising their right to vote, and also marked International Human Rights Day, observed on December 10.
The Academic Inclusive Association will continue to advocate for equal opportunities for all and for the voices of persons with disabilities to be heard not only on international observance days.
